Preparations

1. Do the removal steps of the Media FrameReplacement procedure (980357-207).

2. Do the removal steps of the Print Mechanism Replacement procedure (980357-212).

Removal

1. Use pliers to pull the return spring ! out of its slot.

2. Use retainer pliers to release the retaining ring 1 that holds the latch 2 to the label stripper

shaft

3. Pull the latch off of the shaft.
