1 Turn off (O) the printer and disconnect the AC power cord.

2 On the back of the printer, remove the two screws and the cover plate shaded in

this illustration:

3 To remove the electronics panel, remove the screws and then remove the cover.

Caution • This installation must be performed by a qualified service technician.

Electric Shock Caution • Turn Off (O) the printer and disconnect it from the

power source before preformating these procedures.

Electrostatic Discharge Caution • Observe proper electrostatic safety

precautions when handling any static-sensitive components such as circuit boards and

printheads.
