If... Then...

The wireless card and RF card

cover are both installed

Continue with step 13.

The wireless card is installed

but the RF card cover is not*

a. See Figure 10. Place the RF card cover over the

wireless card.*

b. Secure the RF card cover with a small screw.*

The wireless card and RF card

cover are not installed*

a. Remove and discard the metal cover that was

shipped in place over the PCMCIA slot on the

back of the printer.

b. Insert the wireless card into the PCMCIA slot on

the back of the printer until the card-eject button

pops out (Figure 10).

Note • The notch on the wireless card

must be positioned on top and on the

leading edge as it is inserted into the back

cover slot.

c. Place the RF card cover over the wireless card.*

d. Secure the RF card cover with a small screw.*

* The S4M does not use the plastic RF cover.
